Built with a stainless steel header and tailpipe paired with a stainless steel canister, this race-bred system is finished off with Yoshimura's signature matte carbon fiber end cap and application-specific heel guard for an aggressive, track-ready look. The AT2 is perfect styling for the MT-09 and incorporates Yoshimura's exclusive Works Finish, an aggressively styled matte finish carbon fiber end cap complimented by a facet-formed tip while adding an aggressive GP tone, developed by Yoshimura's R&D team to handle the power and torque of the 890cc three cylinder engine. Installing the AT2 Race Series full system removes the stock exhaust and immediately drops 6 pounds of weight from the bike. With plenty of torque already on the bottom end, the design focuses on bringing power more to the top of the spectrum, resulting in a 2.7% increase in max HP and a 1.6% increase in max torque after development and testing.
