Machined from quality steel and induction hardened to tight tolerances, this sprocket is engineered for improved concentricity, helping it run stronger, quieter, and longer lasting than lesser alternatives. It features a dazzling zinc coating and weight reducing holes, along with precision machined and induction hardened steel. Unlike heat treated steel, the process of induction hardening heats the steel using a controlled electrical current, allowing Vortex to manufacture a quality sprocket with extremely tight tolerances.
