At DMG Motorsports, we present the RK Excel 525XRE-150 Drive Chain — a premium 525-pitch, 150-link XW-ring chain engineered for riders who demand long-lasting performance without sacrificing strength or feel. As the successor to RK's popular XSO line, the XRE series was built to deliver a meaningful step up in durability while keeping weight and friction in check, making it an excellent OE-style replacement for mid-size street and off-road motorcycles.
At the heart of this chain is RK's signature double-X-shaped XW-Ring sealing technology. Instead of a single lubrication barrier, the XW-Ring design creates dual/multiple lubrication pools that lock in grease, resist high-speed abrasion, and keep dirt and debris from working their way into the inner rollers and bushings. The result is a chain that runs smoother for longer, requires less frequent adjustment, and holds up to demanding street, adventure, and off-road use alike. Each chain is lubricated with vacuum-injected U-grease sealed by tough Nitrile Butadiene rubber rings, and finished with polished, shot-peened link plates for added strength. A rivet-style masterlink is included for a secure, permanent installation.
